The move expands Merlo’s reach in the country and gives farmers in the west direct access to sales and service.

IRELAND – Merlo has expanded its dealer network in Ireland after naming Kirrane Machinery Ltd as its new authorised agricultural dealer for the west of the country.
Merlo Ireland confirmed the appointment on March 9. The decision gives farmers and contractors in the region closer access to the company’s machines, spare parts, and service support.
Kirrane Machinery operates from Claremorris in County Mayo. The company has spent more than ten years selling, servicing, and repairing farm machinery across the region.
With this addition, Merlo now works with four dealers across Ireland.
Expanding regional access
Managing director Martin Kirrane said the company looks forward to bringing the brand’s equipment to customers in the west.
“We are delighted to join the Merlo dealer network and bring this premium brand to our customers across the west of Ireland,” he said.
“Merlo has a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and performance, and we look forward to offering the full Merlo range along with our dedicated service and support.”
The company said Kirrane Machinery adds strong engineering knowledge to the network and maintains a reputation for customer service in the farm sector.
The dealership will supply the full Merlo agricultural telehandler range. It will also provide genuine parts and after sales service.
Strengthening the network
Owen Buttle, national sales manager for Merlo in the UK and Ireland, welcomed the new partnership and said the company sees strong value in the appointment.
“We are pleased to welcome Kirrane Machinery Ltd as the newest Merlo agricultural dealer,” he said.
“Their long standing experience, technical capability, and commitment to customer service make them an excellent partner for the Merlo brand.”
He added that the decision helps the company support farmers across the west of Ireland.
“This appointment strengthens our presence in the west of Ireland and ensures customers in the region have access to first class sales and support,” Buttle said.
Merlo said the move forms part of its wider plan to improve support for agricultural customers across Ireland. The company expects the partnership to help farmers access equipment, parts, and technical support closer to their operations while strengthening its national dealer network.
