Avio Smart Market Stack Limited expands farm partnerships to grow rural agri-tech services in India

The company plans to reach millions of farmers through new climate, finance, and digital farm support programs.

INDIA – Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), earlier known as Bartronics India Limited, has signed several partnership agreements to expand its farm support services through Project AVIO Agritech.

ASMS built a large rural network through its banking correspondent system and now plans to use that reach to support agriculture and climate programs. The company says its network already connects with about 40 million rural citizens through more than 5,000 banking correspondents across ten states in India.

Through Project AVIO Agritech, the company plans to work with up to 20 million farmers in more than 5,000 villages. The program will combine farm advice, climate services, rural finance, and digital tools aimed at improving farm output and cutting production costs.

Partnerships support climate and farm services

In recent weeks, ASMS signed Memoranda of Understanding with several partners working in agriculture, climate services, and environmental solutions. These partners include Kosher Climate India Private Limited, Enrich Power and Water Technologies, Ecoveda Climate LLP, and Pranadhaara Agri Smart Solutions, also known as CarbonMint.

Each partner will support a specific area of the program. Kosher Climate India will help develop carbon projects and connect farmers to global voluntary carbon markets so they can earn income from climate friendly farming methods.

Enrich Power and Water Technologies will work on water use, solar irrigation, and rural energy systems. These systems aim to reduce water waste and lower farm energy costs.

Ecoveda Climate LLP will support agroforestry and regenerative agriculture programs. These activities can produce carbon credits and create new income options for farmers.

Pranadhaara Agri Smart Solutions will provide digital farm advice, access to farm machines, and monitoring systems used in carbon and sustainability programs.

Rollout begins in two states

ASMS plans to start the first phase in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Pilot clusters and partner led programs will begin within six to twelve months.

N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director of ASMS, said the company wants to build farm services around its existing rural network.

“Over the years, our financial inclusion work helped us build a strong rural network. Through Project AVIO Agritech, we plan to build services and economic opportunities around that network by working with partners across agriculture, climate, and sustainability sectors,” he said.

The company also continues to expand into health technology. ASMS says it supports the development of diagnostic tools designed to improve access to low cost healthcare across India.

At the same time, the firm continues to build what it describes as a unified rural digital system that connects financial services, agriculture programs, rural trade, and climate initiatives.

ASMS says more partnerships are under discussion as it expands the ecosystem around Project AVIO Agritech and deepens its work with agriculture and sustainability groups.
