Case IH unveils Steiger 785 Quadtrac with record 853 horsepower

The new machine sets a record for horsepower in the Case IH lineup while focusing on comfort and precision technology.

USA – Case IH has officially introduced the Steiger 785 Quadtrac at the 2025 Farm Progress Show, marking its strongest tractor to date.

With 853 peak horsepower, the machine surpasses the company’s previous flagship, the Steiger 715, by close to 10 percent.

The new Steiger 785 Quadtrac comes with a full suite of digital farming tools built in. Farmers will have access to features such as AccuTurn Pro, AccuSync, and the Case IH FieldOps app without additional subscription fees.

These systems support automated headland turns, machine-to-machine syncing, and remote monitoring through connected devices.

“The Steiger 785 Quadtrac represents a new era of power and productivity,” Case IH executives said during the launch. “It gives farmers the ability to tackle more acres in less time, with the precision and comfort they expect from modern equipment.”

Alongside its power, the machine offers an improved ride experience. Farmers can choose an optional heavy-duty suspended undercarriage that boosts traction, reduces soil compaction, and makes long field days easier to handle.

A redesigned cab with 360-degree visibility also helps operators stay productive and less fatigued during extended shifts.

The Steiger 785 Quadtrac delivers a 40 percent torque rise, which allows it to pull wider implements and maintain speed in challenging field conditions.

This combination of strength and handling makes it well-suited for demanding jobs like deep tillage, seeding, and land leveling.

Cleaner powertrain and reliability

The tractor relies on an SCR-only emissions system, which treats exhaust gases after combustion. This approach keeps the engine focused on raw power while meeting current emissions rules.

Case IH has paired the new tractor with a three-year or 2,000-hour warranty, an offer the company says reflects its confidence in the machine’s reliability.

“We understand this is a major investment for farmers. The warranty ensures they have the support they need in the critical first years of operation,” a spokesperson noted.

After its launch in the United States, the Steiger 785 Quadtrac made its international debut at AgQuip in Australia, highlighting the global strategy behind the model.

The release of the Steiger 785 comes as tractor manufacturers continue to focus on efficiency, durability, and support services.

Earlier this year, several leading brands announced extended warranties and new digital tools, signaling a stronger emphasis on helping farmers reduce downtime and increase returns.

With record-breaking horsepower, built-in precision technology, and added comfort, the Steiger 785 Quadtrac positions Case IH at the forefront of high-horsepower farming equipment in 2025.
