The UAE’s National CSR Fund has awarded Gracia Group the Majra Impact Project for its leadership in agriculture and climate action.

UAE – Gracia Group, an agricultural conglomerate based in Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi, has been awarded the Majra Impact Project by the UAE’s National CSR Fund.
The recognition highlights the company’s role in driving sustainable agriculture and food security.
“Proud to have received the Majra Impact Project from National CSR Fund, acknowledging our dedication to sustainability and our role in shaping a sustainable future for the UAE,” the group shared on its official Instagram page.
The award confirms Gracia Group’s alignment with the UAE’s national sustainability goals, especially in agriculture, climate resilience, and community engagement. It also highlights the impact of its projects, including distributing one million seedlings and launching the National Agriculture Centre.
According to the UAE’s National CSR Fund, the Majra Impact Project serves as a federal-level endorsement for companies that demonstrate measurable social, environmental, or economic outcomes.
It provides certified projects with increased visibility, strategic support, and credibility within Majra’s network of partners.
Gracia Group’s founder, Emirati entrepreneur Hamed Al Hamed, leads the conglomerate that manages more than 100 farms and operates through 15 interconnected companies.
“We are deeply committed to transforming agriculture through education, sustainability, and innovation,” Al Hamed has previously noted.
The million tree initiative
In November, Gracia Group launched the “Plant One Million Saplings” campaign, the first major initiative under the new National Agriculture Centre.
The launch ceremony took place at Gracia Farm in Al Bahia, where the UAE’s Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Dr. Amna Al Dahak, planted the first tree.
The campaign distributes ornamental and fruit tree seedlings across homes, schools, hospitals, and organizations throughout the UAE.
Participants collect trees for free and share planting updates through a dedicated app. The project also promotes home farming and supports the country’s drive for stronger food security.
Federal endorsement of impact
The Majra Impact Project adds to other initiatives by Majra, including the Majra Sustainable Impact Challenge, which offers AED 750,000 (US$204,150) in prizes to leading sustainability projects.
Majra also runs the Majra Impact Stream, a digital gateway launched in December 2024 to help companies implement CSR initiatives and track Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics.
By securing recognition under this program, Gracia Group strengthens its role as one of the country’s leaders in sustainable agriculture and community-driven projects.
The company’s one million tree campaign, combined with its long-term investments in food systems, places it at the heart of the UAE’s sustainability movement.
