Imas leads Turkey’s milling machinery exports, ranks among top 1000 exporters

Since 2015, the company has consistently been listed among Turkey’s “Top 250 R&D Leaders,”.

TURKEY –  Imas, a leading Turkish manufacturer of grain and feed milling machinery, has secured a place among the country’s top-performing industrial exporters, ranking No. 772 in the Turkish Exporters Assembly’s (TiM) 2024 “Top 1000 Exporters of Turkey” list.

In addition, the company was recognized as the top exporter in the grain and feed milling machinery category, a distinction that underscores its established global presence and technical expertise.

Founded 35 years ago, Imas Machinery, a subsidiary of Loras Holding, has built a reputation for delivering comprehensive milling and feed production solutions.

Its offerings include complete turnkey projects for flour and feed mills, steel construction, automation systems, and assembly services. The company currently exports to over 120 countries across five continents and boasts a track record of more than 500 successfully delivered turnkey projects worldwide.

It is a great source of happiness and pride for us, to be once again the export leader of Turkey in our industry,” said Mustafa Özdemir, General Manager of Imas and Vice Chairman of the Board at Loras Holding.

“This success, achieved as a result of over 35 years of dedication, discipline, and consistency, is something we aim to carry forward in the future, to represent the Turkish machinery industry strongly on a global scale,” he added.

Since 2015, the company has consistently been listed among Turkey’s “Top 250 R&D Leaders,” and since 2021, it has ranked among the top 10 R&D companies in the Turkish machinery sector, based on R&D expenditures as published by Turkishtime.

The company’s dedicated R&D center focuses on advancing engineering standards, optimizing mill design, and producing patented innovations and utility models that respond to evolving industry needs.

Imas’s project portfolio includes some of the most ambitious builds in the sector. Its first Mega Mill project in Nigeria, with a capacity of 2,400 tonnes per day (tpd), has been operational since 2023. A second Mega Mill with 3,200 tpd capacity is currently under construction in the same country.

The company has also completed or is installing several feed mill projects with capacities up to 30 tonnes per hour (tph) across different regions, further reinforcing its competitive edge in large-capacity feed systems.
