
CANADA – The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) have earned the prestigious Gold Hermes Award for their impactful Greenhouse Goodness digital campaign.
This accolade highlights the campaign’s success in promoting greenhouse-grown vegetables to consumers across major U.S. markets.
The Greenhouse Goodness campaign, titled “This is Greenhouse Goodness,” was designed to inform and educate the public about the advantages of choosing greenhouse-grown peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
The campaign emphasizes fresh, healthy, and convenient produce options, aiming to promote a feel-good lifestyle among consumers.
Richard Lee, Executive Director of OGVG, expressed his pride in the achievement. “The Greenhouse Goodness campaign highlights the high standards and innovative practices of our growers. We are dedicated to educating consumers and promoting the benefits of greenhouse-grown produce, reinforcing our position as an industry leader.”
Developed in partnership with Douglas Marketing Group (DMG), the campaign was strategically targeted at the Atlantic U.S. It employed a mix of social media influencers, online advertising, retail education, and point-of-sale promotions.
The focus was on communicating the promise of nutritious, fresh, and sustainable produce, ensuring that consumers recognize the consistent quality and flavorful varieties offered by greenhouse-grown vegetables.

The Hermes Creative Awards honor outstanding achievements in marketing and communication materials. Winning a Gold Hermes Award is a notable accomplishment, symbolized by the intricately detailed Hermes Platinum and Gold awards.
The name “Hermes,” referring to the Greek messenger, underscores the role of these awards in recognizing excellence in marketing and communication efforts.
