World Group expands agricultural machinery support in Africa and Southeast Asia

Jiangsu World Agricultural Machinery strengthens training and equipment delivery across multiple regions, boosting efficiency for local farmers.

CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE – Jiangsu World Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., also known as World Group, is intensifying its support for African agriculture by delivering tractors and training programs that improve local expertise and operational efficiency.

From 2024 to 2025, World Group organized a series of tractor operation and maintenance training programs in the Republic of Congo, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture.

The sessions took place in Oyo in the north and Bouansa in the south, equipping local operators and technical personnel with hands-on skills for effective machinery use.

“Our goal was to ensure that the tractors we deliver are operated safely and efficiently under local conditions,” said a World Group spokesperson.

The company had already delivered nearly 200 units of its WD1504 tractors to the Congolese market. The training program complemented this delivery by covering tractor structure, performance characteristics, operating procedures, safety requirements, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.

By combining classroom instruction with field exercises, more than 120 participants gained practical experience that improved equipment reliability and operational performance.

“Through practical experience, operators now understand daily maintenance and equipment management, which improves reliability and overall performance,” the spokesperson added.

Extending support to Thailand’s sugarcane industry

Building on its approach in Africa, World Group applied the same model in Thailand, where the sugarcane sector faces labor shortages and low efficiency in traditional harvesting. In the 2024/25 season, the company delivered 27 cut-off sugarcane harvesters and 38 sugarcane cutting and piling machines, totaling 65 units in central and northeastern regions.

“These machines reduce stem damage and impurity levels while raising daily operation efficiency by more than 20 times compared to manual labor,” a company representative said.

The sugarcane cutting machines also allow precision soil cutting and adapt to varying row spacing, supporting small and medium-sized plantations in hilly areas. By providing equipment alongside training and maintenance services, World Group ensures the machines operate smoothly and deliver consistent results.

Across both Africa and Southeast Asia, World Group demonstrates that combining equipment delivery with technical training creates long-term value for farmers and local partners. Looking ahead, the company plans to strengthen overseas service capabilities and expand life-cycle support for international customers.

“We aim to provide reliable machinery and technical assistance that strengthen agricultural systems worldwide,” the spokesperson noted.
