The Canadian ag technology firm says the name change reflects its wider role in harvest tools and farmer training across 45 countries.

CANADA – Bushel Plus Ltd. has announced it will change its company name to BranValt, with the new identity taking effect in July 2026, as the firm sharpens its focus on serving farmers with a wider range of harvest tools and services.
The company, which began with a focus on harvest loss measurement, said the new name marks its growth into a business that supports farmers through products, training, and on field support aimed at protecting yields and improving harvest results.
“Our business has grown well beyond where we started. What started as a basement hobby is now trusted in 45 different countries worldwide,” said Marcel Kringe, founder and chief executive officer of Bushel Plus. “BranValt reflects who we are today and where we are going as we continue innovating advanced solutions that help farmers protect their harvest and profitability.”
Products and training remain central
Under the BranValt name, the company will continue to sell its existing products, including the SmartPan System, MAD Concaves, and the MiniCombine. It will also keep running Harvest Academy, a training program that supports farmers and agricultural equipment professionals with practical skills to improve harvest work.
Kringe said bringing these offerings under one brand will help farmers understand what the company does and how its tools fit together on the farm.
“Our commitment to delivering quality experiences, technical excellence, continuous innovation, and farmer success remains stronger than ever,” he said. “The same experienced team will continue to stand behind the products, partnerships, and customer support that farmers and dealers rely on.”
Meaning behind the new name
The name BranValt links the company’s roots and its focus on protecting grain at harvest. Bran refers to Brandon, Manitoba, where the company started and still operates. Valt draws from the idea of a vault, pointing to the goal of keeping every kernel safe during harvest.
The company said the name also reflects its founder’s background, which includes time spent in rural Germany, and its ongoing ties with farming communities in many regions.
Transition timeline and recent updates
Bushel Plus will start introducing the BranValt name on selected products, packaging, and marketing materials in early 2026. The full switch will take place in July. During this period, products will remain available through the existing dealer network.
Kringe said the change supports the company’s growth plans while keeping its main focus clear.
“This rebrand strengthens our position as we scale globally,” he said. “It also guides us for continued innovation and long term leadership in harvest optimization while keeping our focus exactly where it belongs, protecting farmers’ harvests.”
The company confirmed that customers can continue to access product information and dealer contacts through its current website as the transition moves forward.
