Mahindra records strong tractor sales growth in November 2025

The company reports higher domestic and export sales as farmer demand improves.

INDIA – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business reported strong sales in November 2025, driven by rising farmer confidence and better seasonal performance across key markets.

Mahindra sold 42273 tractors in India during November 2025, up from 31746 units in November 2024. This marked a 33 percent year on year rise for the company. Total sales, which include exports, reached 44048 units compared to 33378 units last year.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Farm Equipment Business at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the team welcomed the growth and expects the momentum to continue.

“We have sold 42273 tractors in the domestic market during November 2025, a growth of 33 percent over last year. This comes on the back of a strong growth of 27 percent for the festive period of September and October 2025. There is positive sentiment among farmers with record production this kharif season and increase in rabi sowing acreage. Government’s progressive measure of GST rate reduction coupled with higher MSP is leading to positive cash flow for farmers and aiding tractor and farm implements demand. In the exports market, we have sold 1775 tractors, a growth of 9 percent over last year.”

Mahindra exported 1775 tractors in November 2025, up from 1632 during the same period last year. This reflected a 9 percent rise. Total sales for the month reached 44048 units. The year to date numbers also improved. Domestic sales reached 361680 units while exports reached 13053 units.

Mahindra continues to hold a strong market position in India’s tractor industry as well as in several overseas markets. The group, founded in 1945, now has over 324000 employees across more than 100 countries.

It holds a leading position in farm equipment, utility vehicles, information technology and financial services. The company also maintains a presence in renewable energy, agriculture, logistics, hospitality and real estate.

Industry analysts note that Indian farmers continue to buy more farm equipment due to stronger crop production and government support measures. Many see improved purchasing power across key states this season.

Mahindra also continues to strengthen its presence across the renewable energy and logistics sectors. The group recently confirmed plans to expand investments in clean energy solutions across India. The company aims to support rural development through targeted projects that improve efficiency for farmers and local communities.

Mahindra says these efforts align with its broader goal of driving long term progress in the markets it serves. The group states that it will keep working closely with farmers and partners as seasonal activity picks up across different regions.
