Indian farm machinery maker expands its reach in Spain and Portugal through new distribution partnership.

INDIA – Shaktiman, one of India’s largest makers of farm implements, has signed a channel partnership with Farming Agricola to expand its presence in Spain and Portugal.
Shaktiman, formally known as Shaktiman and operated by Tirth Agro Technology Pvt. Ltd., signed the agreement with Farming Agricola on February 4, 2026.
The companies say the deal supports Shaktiman’s long term plan to grow in Europe and improve service support for farmers in the Iberian region.
Under the agreement, Farming Agricola will market and support Shaktiman’s range of rotary tillers, mulchers, seeders, planters, balers, post hole diggers and power harrows across Spain and Portugal. The distributor will also support future product launches in both markets.
Both companies will strengthen dealer coverage and improve spare parts supply to ensure quick service response. They also plan to hold farm demonstrations, run technical training programs and carry out joint marketing work to show farmers how the machines perform in local field conditions.
Emilio García, CEO of Farming Agricola, said the company sees strong value in the partnership. “We are very pleased with the agreement reached with the Shaktiman Group. We are expanding our product range with an important Indian manufacturer that has grown significantly in recent years and with whom we have shared strong alignment from the outset,” he said.
Ashwin Gohil, Chairman of Shaktiman, said the company wants to build a strong base in the region. “This partnership with Farming Agricola marks an important step in our commitment to the Iberian market. By combining their strong local presence and market expertise with Shaktiman’s robust, reliable and affordable implements, we are building a solid foundation to support farmers with practical mechanization solutions and long term service capability across the region,” he said.
Building on European momentum
The Iberia agreement follows Shaktiman’s recent participation at Agritechnica 2025 in November 2025, where the company showcased new machinery to European farmers.
At the event, Shaktiman presented the Variable Chamber Round Baler, the Twin Rotor Hay Rake and the In Out Rotary Tiller for vineyards and orchards. Gohil said at the show that the company aims to build lasting partnerships across regions through practical farm solutions.
With the new Iberian partnership in place, Shaktiman continues to grow its European footprint while strengthening local distribution and service support in key markets.
