Deal gives farmers nationwide access to tractors, harvesters and aftersales support.

KENYA – New Holland Agriculture has formally appointed Inchcape Kenya as its full range importer in Kenya, a move that widens access to modern farm machinery across the country.
The company launched the partnership at an event in Nairobi that brought together government officials, industry players, farmers and company leaders.
Through the deal, farmers can now buy New Holland tractors, combine harvesters, genuine parts and service support at Inchcape showrooms in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret and Kitale.
Inchcape plc operates in more than 40 markets across six continents. The firm works with mobility brands in markets that show strong growth and low motorisation rates.
Under the new arrangement, Kenyan farmers can access New Holland’s full product line. The range includes TT Series and TT4 tractors, TD Straddle and TD5 tractors, TS6 and T10 models, high horsepower tractors for heavy duty work, and TC Series combine harvesters for mixed and small scale farms.
Mr Vincent de Lassagne, Vice President Africa and Middle East at New Holland, said Kenya plays a key role in the company’s plans on the continent.
“Kenya holds a very special place in New Holland’s vision for Africa. This launch represents more than a commercial partnership. It reflects our long term commitment to supporting Kenyan farmers with reliable solutions and a strong local presence,” he said.
Marion Gathoga Mwangi, Managing Director of Inchcape Kenya, said the firm will focus on more than just sales.
“As the official distributor of New Holland Agriculture in Kenya, Inchcape is now exclusively offering the full range of tractors and combine harvesters. But our role goes beyond sales. We are committed to aftersales support, parts availability, field service and customer education,” she said.
Ms Mercy Wanjau, Secretary to the Cabinet, who represented Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, welcomed the entry.
“Through innovation and a strong partnership with Inchcape Kenya, this collaboration will play a key role in boosting agricultural productivity and supporting farmers nationwide,” she said.
Mechanisation drive gathers pace
The launch comes days after CFAO Kenya opened a new Case IH showroom in Mnazi Mmoja, Mombasa. The outlet aims to improve access to tractors, parts and technical support for farmers in the coastal region.
Executives from CNH Industrial and county leaders attended that event. Vincent DeLassange said Kenya remains one of Africa’s fastest growing farm markets and pledged continued support for local farmers.
Together, these developments signal rising investment in farm machinery as Kenya pushes to raise output and strengthen food security.
