The new partnerships strengthen global supply and quality consistency for premium grape brands.

EGYPT/CHILE – Sun World International has added six new licensees to its global network, expanding its reach across key production areas in Egypt and Chile.
The new partners include Delipack Spa and Geofruit from Chile, along with Cairo 3A, Itamco, Al-Bustania, and Nivex from Egypt.
Each company was chosen for its proven record in maintaining high-quality standards and sustainable farming practices. The move marks another step in Sun World’s effort to build a stronger, more reliable supply chain that delivers premium grapes to global markets throughout the year.
“These partnerships reflect the kind of thoughtful growth that defines Sun World,” said Pablo Ramirez, vice president of global licensing. “We work intentionally to identify partners who share our values and uphold the integrity of our brands. Together, they strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional fruit to retailers and consumers across every region.”
The new licensees represent a mix of established family-run farms and large-scale exporters. Each will market Sun World’s signature grape varieties suited to their local growing conditions and market needs.
As part of the network, the companies will gain access to agronomic expertise, exclusive breeding research, and marketing resources to enhance their productivity and market performance.
Strengthening year-round supply
“By expanding across both hemispheres, we’re not just growing our footprint – we’re strengthening the reliability and reach of Sun World fruit for retailers and consumers everywhere,” said Petri van der Merwe, vice president of global licensing.
“This balance allows us to deliver premium quality 12 months a year, from our vines to the global marketplace.”
The expansion reinforces Sun World’s long-term strategy of ensuring continuous grape supply regardless of seasonal changes in either hemisphere. This structure benefits both producers and consumers by keeping quality consistent across different regions and harvest periods.
The announcement comes as Sun World continues to strengthen its international presence and align with growers who share its standards for excellence. The company has also been advancing research to improve grape breeding, focusing on traits that enhance flavor, shelf life, and resilience against climate challenges.
With the addition of these new partners, Sun World’s network now covers an even wider geographic range. This broader reach will help maintain reliable access to its premium grape brands across diverse retail markets.
The company said the partnerships in Egypt and Chile underscore its commitment to working with growers who value quality, transparency, and environmental responsibility. Each partner brings unique strengths that contribute to the group’s global growth and market stability.
Sun World International continues to see collaboration as a driving force for progress in the fresh produce sector. As Ramirez concluded, “Our goal is simple – to keep raising the bar for quality while supporting our partners to succeed in every market they serve.”
