The new DT range combines deep soil restructuring with surface preparation in one pass.

FRANCE – KUHN has introduced its latest DT subsoiler range, designed for farmers who want efficient deep cultivation and surface preparation in a single operation.
The new machine works up to depths of 60 centimeters and is available in widths of 3 or 4 meters.
“This new DT subsoiler gives farmers a robust solution for deep restructuring and mixing. It performs well in different conditions and prepares the soil to support healthier crops,” KUHN said during the launch.
Soil health and crop development
The DT subsoiler is designed to manage compaction, a major challenge for long-term soil productivity. By breaking compacted layers, the machine restores porosity, improves aeration, and allows better water infiltration.
“DT allows the soil to regain its porosity, improve aeration, encourage water infiltration and support the root development of future crops,” KUHN explained. The mixing action also helps bury crop residues, which break down into organic matter more quickly, boosting soil fertility.
The machine also makes it easier to apply chemical or organic amendments, creating conditions for stronger root growth and higher yields.
Two models for different soils
Farmers can choose between two models depending on their soil type and tractor power. The DT L subsoiler, designed for light soils, works at depths of up to 50 centimeters and is suitable for tractors up to 230 horsepower.
For heavy soils, KUHN has introduced the DT XL, available in 3 and 4 meter versions, capable of working down to 60 centimeters and handling tractors up to 400 horsepower.
At the core of the DT is its finned explosive leg, available in both mechanical and hydraulic safety versions. With a 350 millimeter width and a quick-fit tip option in carbide, the leg ensures effective cracking and residue mixing.
Work quality is supported by side deflectors that manage soil flow and hydraulic rollers that level the surface. The double roller crumbles the soil and helps retain moisture, supporting the establishment of the next crop.
Precision farming support
Alongside the new subsoiler, KUHN is continuing to expand its digital support tools under KUHN Connect. Farmers can now access KUHN CCI Connect Lite on CCI 800 and CCI 1200 terminals, offering features like remote view for diagnostics and online updates.
“KUHN Connect can be accessed from your MyKUHN account to help you manage your farm more effectively,” the company stated.
The system also supports CCI Task Control, which allows farmers to import prescription maps, adjust application rates within plots using GPS, and record work for documentation.
With the introduction of the DT subsoiler and ongoing improvements in KUHN Connect, the company is strengthening its position in both mechanical and digital solutions for modern farming.
